Their health care needs are likely to be less overall because of age yet they begin paying some premiums and fees in to the system. Limiting the monopoly of insurance companies increase consumer options. Both of these things bring down costs without any need to limit medical choice (some countries with effective health care do not). I don't get to complain about paying for public schools for the 10 of people who don't believe in birth control. I don't get to suggest that obese people need to lose weight to limit their health problems and the "burden" they might cause on healthcare. So other people don't get to complain about the possible burdens on the healthcare system of using infant formula or not having natural birth (by force).
